Otomasi Murah dan Hemat dengan Wemos D1 ESP8266

Dalam sebuah project terutama komersial, Efisiensi biaya tentunya menjadi faktor utama, agar produk yang dihasilkan dapat dijual dengan harga minimal dan profit maksimal. Pada kasus Produk Elektronik Otomasi contohnya, dari sekian banyak produk yang ada kita harus pintar memilih produk yang sesuai fitur serta analisis cost terhadap profit dari nilai jual dan pangsa pasar.

Kali ini akan mengulas sedikit tentang ESP 8266 dalam bentuk mini board yang dikenal dengan WEMOS d1 mini.

Wemos D1

WeMos D1 merupakan mini board arduino yang menggunakan Chipset ESP 8266 (chipset wifi) dan memiliki beberapa PIN IO digital dan dapat diprogram via micro-usb 2.0 adapter (adapter yg sama dengan android) menggunakan c++ ataupun python. Berikut adalah gambar dan spesifikasi teknis dari wemos D1.

Chipset ESP8266

ESP8266  adalah modul low cost, wifi micro-chip yang diproduksi oleh Espressif Systems  di Shanghai, China. Dilaunching pertama kali pada Agustus 2014  dan dibuat menjadi modul ESP01 oleh Ai-Thinker yang dapat diprogram dengan storage memory flash 1MB yang kemudian dikembangkan lagi menjadi ESP32 pada 2016. Modul ini banyak menarik perhatian karena adanya fitur komunikasi nirkabel yang dapat diprogram.
